I'll post a little more regularly in the future. As for this post: I started WGU February 1. Since that time, I have completed 18 course equal to 56 course units. A course unit is the equivalent to a traditional credit hour.
That is 56 CUs in just over 3 months! I am so happy with my progress but the journey is far from over. I have a lot to accomplish between now and January. That is when I am slated to start my Demonstration Teaching.
Before that however, I must survive the gauntlet that is Pre-Clinical Experience. That is basically a whole bunch of observation and teaching tasks to get me ready for DT.
In the meantime, I plan on posting some of the thoughts I have collected over the past 3 months when completing the myriad of tasks for Western Governor's University.
First up will be my thoughts on multicultural education. Look for that in my next post!
